Ze ontmoet een regisseur die het over sterke vrouwen wil hebben.
Ze ontmoet een man die zich afvraagt of hij in de show voorkomt.
Ze ontmoet een sekswerker in Berlijn en bombardeert haar tot haar own personal jesus.
Samen met muzikant Andrew van Ostade brengt Vandeputte een monologue-on-beats die het narratief over lichamelijk trauma bevraagt en uitdaagt.

My Body as a Commodity is a brooding musical trip that explores the boundaries of fiction. With high-energy live percussion, Anne-Laure Vandeputte examines the narratives in which our bodies are - consciously or unconsciously - inscribed.
She meets a director who wants to talk about strong women. She meets a man who wonders if he appears in the show. She meets a sex worker in Berlin and anoints her as her own personal Jesus.
Together with musician Andrew van Ostade, Vandeputte delivers a monologue-on-beats that questions and challenges the narrative of bodily trauma.
